What Everybody Ought To Know About Drinking Lemon Water

What’s one small but mighty change you can make to your daily nutrition? It’s Lemon Water. Or more precisely, one lemon squeezed into 1 litre of your best quality purified water.

The humble lemon that is so often overlooked or misunderstood.

I was taught this several years ago and once I did my due diligence and started this practice for myself, I started to understand just how effective and impactful this can be for your health and daily nutritional habits.

I enjoy the teachings of Anthony William, the ‘Medical Medium’, the multiple New York Times Best Selling Author, and resonate with his mission to help millions of people heal themselves through food and protocols. The Lemon Water protocol is simple and oh so effective and this is what you ought to know about making this one of your daily habits.

Rather than me ramble on in my excitement, I’ve revisited one of my favourite Medical Medium videos and articles, and taken my favourite highlights and included them below for you.

Lemon water hydrates, purifies and revitalises your body

Did you know that water coming straight from the tap or a bottle has lost its vitality and innate living structure? So by adding freshly squeezed lemon juice to your water, it brings it back to life. Then it can do its job more effectively, getting into your tissues and cells and carrying essential nutrients around the body.

Lemon water is a good source of vitamins C and B and minerals such as calcium and magnesium

Such a small fruit packs a punch and this reason alone is enough to have one or more a day.

Lemon water is excellent for weight loss, the immune system, alkalising the body, controlling high blood pressure, anti-aging, detoxification, purifying the blood and regulating body temperature

Now I don’t know which of these might resonate with you, or maybe they all do. I have an interest in strengthening and boosting my immune system because of my hidden disability, but I also recognise the specific importance for me of making my internal body more alkaline, regularly removing toxins and purifying the blood. Everything else is just pure bonus!

Lemon water is beneficial for the digestive tract

It can help to relieve constipation, nausea and parasites.

Lemon water is good for the cardiovascular and muscular system

It’s a great drink for before and after exercise.

Lemon water helps break up sediment and stones in the gallbladder

This in turn encourages bile production in the liver to increase, hydrochloric acid levels in the gut to rise, and the reductions of bad acids that cause acid reflux.

Okay, so now you’ve heard the highlights of Medical Medium teaching on some benefits of lemon water, is it time you make some for yourself?

How do you make lemon water?

As I said at the start, its basically one lemon (or you can start with a half) freshly squeezed into 1 litre (or you can start with 500ml) of your best quality purified water. No additions. No mixing with other fruits. Nothing. Simple. It is great if you have it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Leave it 20 – 30 mins before having anything afterwards, including your Celery Juice, if you drink it like me.

For my inquisitive friends who (like me) prefer a visual to be absolutely sure, here is a video I made earlier!

So my friend, I invite you to take up this lemon water practice. This has done wonders for me, for years! Wouldn’t it be great if it helps you too?

I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Thank You Old Year. Hello New Year. Be Intentional.

The start of a new year. I can’t remember a new year where I didn’t feel excited. Like there was some freshness in the air. A chance to hit the reset button of my life, or at least the reset button of my feelings and emotions. A childlike feeling of excitement that momentarily forgets about the challenges or difficulties of the outgoing season. Something curious about the fact that everyone in this massive world community is pondering over this transition into a new year, all at around the same time, and being a part of that. A part of something so much bigger than ourselves. All of this creates a build up and so many different emotions.

Well, how do you approach this special transition? Do you talk about resolutions or goals? Do you use the language of becoming new or renewed? Do you dread this time of the year and simply ‘opt-out’? Perhaps you make promises to yourself about changes you would like to make in your life? Perhaps your excitement transitions into guilt 8 weeks later when you realise your life hasn’t really begun to change in the way you intended?

Hmmmmm……….

I’ll share what I tend to do. Feel free to try it out if you like the sound of it.

Look over your shoulder and smile

Well, I like to start with looking back. Looking back at the old outgoing year. I like to see on paper what my highlights were and what I enjoyed about the year. I also like to see what big events or challenges or hurdles I had to overcome. Successfully or not so successfully, and just acknowledge them, good or bad. An exciting trip, an admission to hospital, a friendship that withered away. A delicious meal, designing my book cover, the feelings of bodily peace. The times you caught a glimpse of your true authentic character unfiltered, and the laughter you had from a nourishing friendship.

I jot these down with pencil on paper, preferably in little circles or squiggly shapes like clouds, and just get it all down, out of my head. This is fun, and the larger the piece of paper the better. I do like using my journal, but I run out of space so I prefer to use a larger sketch type pad that I keep tucked away for big creative moments like this.

Or if you’re not much of a writer, you could try going for a walk while recording yourself on your phone, saying all your highlights out loud. I did both this year and it was really fun, especially as my thoughts were rolling out faster than I could write! So later on when writing, I could use the audio to check I hadn’t forgotten anything.

Give space for acknowledgement

Then when you’re quite done giving acknowledgement to the outgoing year, start the process again for what you would like to see happen in your life for the new year.

Hello new year! What’s occurring?

This should be fun! Remember, if there are things you are afraid to say because you think there’s no point in wishing for it, then write it down! Don’t hold back. Sometimes it takes writing something down to bring it to life, and really admit it to yourself. Because I’ve done this a few times, I now know that you want to be as specific as you can. Also give things a deadline, like a date for when you want something to happen or to start taking shape.

This starts to take you into the territory of writing goals, which isn’t really what this post is about, so more on that another time. But this process is all about bringing clarity and focus and deliberate intention to what is important for your life. It’s about taking the time to give breathing space to your thoughts and to what’s in your heart. To really bring it to life and help you make real authentic decisions about what direction to take next, to get to where you would really like to be.

I’d love to hear how you get on.

How To Thrive With Your Hidden Disability

Well it has been a while my friend………… Je suis tres desolee!!! Can you forgive me? In my defence, I have been completely absorbed in the deep cave of writing my book…… and though I wanted to do everything…. I soon realised that I couldn’t, and something had to give.

I’m delighted to be back here on the blog, and oh how I’ve missed writing this blog! You really do appreciate something more when you’ve not had it for a while. I hope that I meet you well, and hope that you may forgive me and decide to share some of your precious time with me by reading my renewed blog.

And good news by the way…….my book manuscript is FINISHED! Hooray! Well, AS finished as it gets! For all the creatives out there……………… it can be hard to say that you’re DONE! There’s always one more point to make, or one more name to acknowledge, or one more story to share, or one more read through of the edits…..aaaaargh! I am so happy and grateful for arriving at this point of the process, and now its time to start working through the checklist of important tasks to complete in the countdown to publication, which I hope will be by November 2025!!! Nearly there now!

What is it all about I hear you say? Well, I won’t say too much now, but this short introductory video will probably give you the gist of it all.

So yes my friend, I am following my heart, the prompting on my heart, and a real sense of purpose and mission as I step forward in this direction.

My mission is to Help You Thrive With Your Hidden Disability Without the Pain of Settling For Less Than You Deserve.

As someone born with a Hidden Disability, that has been really debilitating over the years, and has often left me feeling like my body has been in a war zone…….or has in fact been the war zone….. I am at the point of my journey of life where I feel the healthiest I have ever been, and incredibly happy and grateful and I have spent the last 10 years or more cultivating tools and strategies to get me to this point. I now want to help others to thrive with their hidden disabilities, just as I am gratefully thriving in life with mine.

So……..

I am excited to journey with you, and for us to develop together, and also help others to do the same.

Stay tuned……. and I’ll see you in the next blog post. I look forward to hearing how this may resonate with you.

Sending you my light and my love, Tessa x

3 Ideas To Start Simplifying Your Photos

Are you like me, at that point where you’re starting to think about how you can tackle your collection of photographs? You want to simplify all of these photos that you have collected for years and years and years and years? Well my friend, this video is for you! You are in good company.

I think it is important for us to clarify whether we are in the same boat.

What Is Your Objective

Well, maybe you’re reading this and thinking about preserving your entire collection of maybe 20, 30, 40 or 50 years plus of photographs! That is not what I am going to talk about today because my objective is completely different. If you are trying to simplify your photos by getting rid of some of the paper, the physical photos and streamlining your collection, then you and I are aligned my friend!

If you want to keep all of your photos then you’ll want to be thinking more about storage options and how to store them. If you want to save just those that are perhaps the highlight reel of that year or that decade of your life, then you’re going to want to look at ways that you can have limited storage but easy access.

You want to dig through all the unnecessaries and just have your focus. So think about what your objective is here. I can share that I have allocated just one basket. The photographs basket! That’s it. I really want to cut down on all the paper stuff. So clarify your objective.

Pick Your Method

You’re going to need a game plan in how you start to attack the photo collection. Are you going to look at photos based on your age, say from age 0yrs to 10 yrs in one pile? 11 – 20? 21-30? Is it going to be by theme? Maybe before something happened in your life, and then after that thing happened? Could it be that you’ve lived in a few different countries and you want to categorise your photos by country? I don’t know. So have a think about your method. That’s going to really help you start to get to a place where you think, okay, I know what I’m doing. I have picked by decades, but also by age, as my method.

How Are You Going To Start

So maybe you’ve selected all your photos by decade. Sure, that’s all good, but it doesn’t mean that you’re going to keep them ALL. So I like Marie Kondo and her methods for organising your life, and she often says that you want to hold an item and see whether it sparks joy for you. How do you feel when you’re looking at this particular photo?

I found a photo the other day, I must have been maybe 3 or 4 yrs old, and it was me sitting with my Dad, on a Sunday afternoon, and I was mimicking what he was doing and actually, he was reading the Sunday papers. So I must have grabbed part of his paper, and I was holding it up in front of me, copying my Dad.

I don’t know what I was doing, but I looked at the camera and I was laughing. That’s when the picture was taken. So I had forgotten about this photo, and I picked it up and OMGoodness! I couldn’t stop laughing, and even now that I speak about it, I’m laughing. So you know, that totally sparked joy for me. Definitely a keeper!

But there was another photo that I saw which was like, photo 5 of 10, of this same one tree, back in my university days, and I don’t even remember the story behind the tree! It must have been very significant then, but why do I have 10 different photos of this one tree??!! So you know, no joy there, just frustration. What is going on Tessa??

So I would encourage you to maybe think of that method for you, in terms of how you are dividing up the photos that you have, what to keep, what sparks joy for you, and what you’re going to say thank you to, and let go.

Are you with me?

Emotional Disposal

If you are a minimalist at heart like me, then you might want to (now please don’t hate me) get over this emotional block of the sacrilege of ripping up a photograph!!! Don’t get overly emotional about disposing. Unfortunately, it appears that because of the chemicals used in printed photographs, you can’t recycle them like you would paper (apparently). I looked into this because I was thinking surely there has to be a way I can recycle these prints. But alas no. So you’re going to have to make your peace with tearing them up and getting rid of them (or another way you choose). However, all is not lost………

Aspire Towards Digitising Those Photos That You Are Keeping

So there are some great scanners available, that just have the one purpose of scanning photos really quickly and easily, so you can feed them through quickly and get through lots of photos at a time. That is something really great to aspire to because then you can digitise your photos if you choose.

You then have the option of having no paper at all, if that’s your heart’s desire or maybe it gets you excited just thinking about it though you’re not quite there yet! And obviously that is much better for the environment. So, something to think about my friend!

So there you are. Some ideas planted to get your mind buzzing and the juices flowing. This is something that you CAN do. You CAN do it!

I look forward to hearing how you get on.

7 Ways To Reduce Scars Naturally

Have you ever thought, well you’ve had surgery and you’ve got these scars and in your eyes they’re pretty ugly, and you’d like to reduce the size of them, or at least minimise them. And you’re not too keen on having additional treatment or special professional procedures to get rid of it. Well on this video, I’m going to look at 7 natural ways to help you reduce your scars.

I also, perhaps like you, have surgical scars, and so I was interested and did some research on what was out there. My scars are pretty old and also hidden from the parts of your body normally on show, and because of what I’ve used, are starting to fade and not be so fiery and sort of blend in with the surrounding skin. But I often wondered, if I had got in there early and made a better effort earlier, would I have had a better result? Anyway……

So I was reading up on this and I found this amazing article that looked at many many natural ways to help you minimise the look of your scars. So I extracted 7 which I thought were fantastic, and one of them is actually the one I’ve been using, which is great!

So let’s dive straight in!

Frankincense Essential Oil

Now the smell of Frankincense is pretty amazing, but I didn’t know you could use this to help you get rid of your scars! So a couple of headline points are that it has natural anti-inflammatory properties, it is really great for dry skin, and it is known to help reduce the signs of ageing and very good with stretch marks, including scars.

Rosehip Seed Oil

This sort of buddies up with Frankincense Essential Oil. This also is very high in anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids which are going to soothe, nourish and rehydrate the skin. This is great. Now combined with Frankincense Essential Oil, it becomes really good for anti-aging! An extra tip there.

Aloe Vera Gel or Gelly

Full disclosure, this is what I have been using over the years to really just soothe, dampen and blend the scars that I have, so this is a top one from me. Now what you want to get at is the lovely oozing gelly that you get in the inner leaf. Now even though I’ve been using this consistently for years, I didn’t know that it is the hyperpigmentation in the scar that the aloe consistently fades.

I knew that it gave a rejuvenating appearance to your skin. I know from my own use that aloe very gel is anti-aging which is fantastic. I also know that it is a natural anti-inflammatory. Now you want to make sure that you are very careful about the quality of what you’re using.

So even though I have been using Aloe Vera Gel for many many years now almost 10 years, I do not extract it from a pot plant on my kitchen window sill, because the quality is not the same. You may choose to do that, but you may not get the same effects that I have been getting. So where you source it from is very important, so more about that at the end.

Lemon Juice

I found this quite interesting. I do drink lemon juice in water everyday, but I didn’t know it would be a really useful natural way to help with your scars. And apparently it is the sort of bleaching effect of it that lightens the discolouration you can get with scars. And it fades it over time with consistent use, which was very interesting.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Gosh, this is good for so many things isn’t it? So it has this ability to heal up wounds really nicely. It loosens the dead skin cells and it kind of softens the scar.

Cocoa Butter

This is so fantastic and it has been around forever! Preferably organic or raw. It is very highly concentrated. But did you know that it is a fat? It’s a highly concentrated fat! I know that sounds a bit yucky, but cocoa butter is amazing. It penetrates very deeply into the skin. It’s a bit like the Aloe Vera you know, which penetrates 7 layers deep into your skin which is partly why it is so effective.

But cocoa butter penetrates very deeply into your skin, and it also has anti-oxidants which helps you to heal and specifically it helps to prevent the ageing effects of the UV rays from the sun. So I thought that’s really interesting. And of course it has that lovely smell which you just want to eat 🙂 Well there you go, cocoa butter.

Lavender Essential Oil

Now this is probably one of two favourite essential oils for me and I use all the time. I did not know that it was really good for scars. It improves the way that your collagen is made, and we know don’t we, that collagen is one of the important building blocks of the skin. It’s got healing properties, soothing properties, that help to diminish scar tissue. And we know don’t we that when you’re using Lavender oil on your body or as a fragrance in the room where you are, it just soothes you and it helps you to reduce any anxiety, stress or tension, so it is a powerful potent oil.

So those are my 7 natural ways to help you reduce your scars.

And the thing about natural ways is that it is going to take a while, so consistent regular dedicated use, and thinking about how you are applying this daily, maybe twice a day. And especially with the oils, you’ll need to do a patch test first as you may have an allergy or your skin may not be loving that particular oil, so make sure you always do that. If you have any other medical concerns, be sure to check with your medical practitioner or your healthcare adviser.

I think it is wonderful that there are so many options out there to help you deal with surgical scars, which can often really bring you down, especially if you don’t like how they look. There are so many different types of scarring, so if this is a big area for you, I would encourage you to get out there and do your own in depth research. For natural ways, this may not be good for everyone, maybe you’ll need a specific procedure or some other type of surgical remedy, to get rid of the scars, if that is for you.

If you’re interested to know a bit more about my preferred choice of Aloe Vera Gel or Gelly, as I mentioned in the video – I apply it topically but I also drink it – then you’re gonna want to check out my Free Download, my Get the Glow Guide. See the details below.

How To Deal With Disappointment – 5 Ways

Can you recall a time where you have just been so so disappointed, and you’re trying to find a way to move forward?

Well on this video, I look at 5 ways to help you take those steps and to do just that. I was inspired by an interesting article by a psychologist looking at how we can learn to manage periods of disappointment, so I thought I’d share my top takeaways. Let’s dive straight in.

1.Take Care of You – Mind and Body

Often when you’re feeling disappointed, all the basics go out the window, so you want to think about asking yourself questions like ‘are you eating well?’, ‘are you sleeping well?’, ‘are you (if physically able) exercising well and getting some movement into your body?’. All really important foundations that you should make sure you are deliberately doing for yourself, to get you through this period of disappointment. If you are the type of person who likes to talk then maybe there is someone you trust who you could speak to and talk through how you are feeling, if the situation suits and if this will benefit you. But we’re not all like that heehee!

2.Carefully Selecting the Good People Around You

When you’re going through a period of disappointment, you want to be around people who are positive, who are going to support you and affirm your efforts, who have a positive mindset and recognise all the hard work that you’re doing and who can cheer you on. That way you can focus on building yourself up again. Equally, you might want to spend less time with those people who get under your skin, just because you’re feeling a bit vulnerable and may be less tolerant than usual.

3.Deliberate Activities to Raise Your Vibrations To Feel Good

Now this is your job, to generate energy within yourself, preferably through movement……. so you might want to whack on your favourite upbeat song (one of my tried and tested tools in the Fyffe household) at a high volume and just MOVE your body, in whatever way you are able. Or you just want to select those activities that generally make you feel GOOD, that can generate that ‘feelgoodness’ within you. This will help to release those happy endorphins, like dopamine, and you get this big shot into your brain to make you feel happier and better about yourself.

So what are those things, this is over to you now……what are those things that are going to make you feel better? Is it putting on your favourite music and having a dance around? Is it watching your favourite funny movie or boxset or something that is just going to make your heart blossom and open up? Is it doing an activity that’s fun?

4.You Are Learning!

This is a life-long learning experience…..your life! The psychologist in the article talked about how babies learn to walk. They get up and waddle a little bit, they fall down and fail, and maybe have a bit of a cry, and they get back up again, and start walking again. So this disappointment that you’re going through or that you’ve just gone through……..try to see this as a learning opportunity…..so you can review, reflect on what’s happened, what you can change, how you can improve…….especially if it’s a disappointment in relation to your physical ability, perhaps something you thought you could do but you weren’t able to. It may not mean that you can never do that, it might just mean that you have to tweak it and get a bit more savvy about what you can do next time to smooth things over…..are you with me?

5.You Gotta Get Back Up Baby!

This isn’t over. Life isn’t over. You have to get back up. Sure, it might feel like life as you know it is over, but your life is a marathon…..and your job now is to get back up. Ask yourself ‘what’s next?’ ‘what am I going to do next?’, ‘what is my next step?’, ‘how do I start the next step?’…….’how am I going to intentionally feel now that I am moving through it?’

I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Seven Types of Goals In Life

Seven Types of Goals In Life

Sometimes the exercise of choosing which types of goals to set can be a bit mechanical and not aligned with who you are and what you’re about. Isn’t it better to have goals that are in tune with your meaning and essence and more aligned with your overall vision for your life?

Well in this video, you’ll learn the different types of goals in life that you could bring into your life. Let’s look at the categories of goals in life list according to your meaning and your relationships and your motivation. Let’s dive straight in.

I was inspired by a great article by a financial expert and blogger Anthony O’Neal. I loved his approach and how he shared it, and so I was inspired to share my takeaways and highlights with you.

What I like about this approach, before you even get to the seven categories, is that you start with an overall vision for yourself and your life, as the journey to fulfilling your purpose as a divine being, a child of God. Having a desire to be the person that God created you to be, for me, is a great position to take as your foundation, before you even start to choose and set the goals in your life.

Video

So when you’ve got your vision in place, everything else flows from that.

You start off with your vision for who you want to be. Link this with your purpose as a divine being in the world. The person who you think God wants you to be. Having that vision for yourself. What sort of person do you want to be. That is your starting point for your goals. Because everything then flows from that amazing vision of you.

Spiritual Goals

So he starts with Spiritual Goals. This resonates with me as the most important for me. Everything I do revolves around how I can develop relationship with God and being that best version of myself. So if your spiritual goal is to go deeper into your identity as a spiritual person, then an example of a goal may be how you carve out that time for yourself everyday for prayer and meditation, or reading the bible, or prayerful writing. Strengthening your connection to your Source. Have a think about what this might be for you.

Financial

Financial goals – really important as it is part of you being a responsible person and living your life fully, which choice and without burden. It could be about getting to grips with your debts and getting a plan in place. Maybe you don’t have any debts anymore and its about saving for a special event, your next lovely holiday or building up your investments.

Career

Career goals – if you’re an employed person you may be working towards a promotion, or making yourself more valuable, or trying a secondment to feed your need to try something different. Or maybe its about creating something for yourself like a business or a side hustle or a creative outlet for yourself. What could this mean for you? Remember, all the while you are relating this back to your overall vision for yourself.

Educational

Educational goals – becoming a life-long learner. Learning doesn’t stop when you leave school, college or uni. Brendon Burchard coaches on creating your own personal curriculum, what skillsets do you need to get to that next stepping stone or achievement for you? It could be about feeding your creativity with a new language or learning how to express yourself in a certain way. What could this be for you?

Fitness

Fitness goals – if you are physically able to exercise, what are you able to do that will energise you, help you to keep your heart healthy, and keep your systems, your joints and muscles in good working order. It doesn’t have to be about going to the gym. It could be about getting better organised about your fitness, like when you do it, as opposed to what you do. I learned to link my daily pilates rebounding machine exercises to a different existing part of my day that is non-negotiable and already a habit. That way, when I do the thing that’s already ingrained within me, I remember to add on my 10 minutes of rebounding.

Family

Family goals -where does family fit in to your life? Perhaps you’d like to have more family time but there always seems to be other stuff getting in the way? It may help to create a goal around this so that it becomes a priority. Keeping up to date with adult siblings with a weekly phone call, or a monthly catch up? Scheduling some activities together, or planning when you’re taking those journeys to visit family who live far away? What might this mean for you?

Social

Social goals – this one is quite interesting. It is not necessarily about ‘doing’ more or going out more. Think about those relationships in your life that nourish you. That serve you in your life. Are they priorities for you? Could you do with reducing the impact of those relationships that do not enrich your life or bring you value or enjoyment in any way whatsoever? Could you learn to say ‘no’ a bit more to bring balance into your overly busy life? What could this mean for you?

I look forward to hearing how you get on.

How To Heal Mother Daughter Relationships – 4 Tips For Daughters

How To Heal Mother Daughter Relationships – 4 Tips For Daughters

Some say that this is one of the more complex of family relationships, often plagued with layers of challenge, hurt, misunderstanding and conflict. We hear a lot about mothers and daughters being best friends, and sharing all aspects of each others lives in harmony, which is beautiful. How much do we hear about the flip-side to this dynamic, the not-so-pretty-to-look-at side of this important relationship?

Like many other women, this is a topic that resonates deeply with me and so I enjoy reading material on this. I came across an article recently that I find really helpful, and after digesting, I thought I’d share 3 highlights from it in this video. The fourth healing tip is my own, shared from my personal experience.

In this video you’ll learn about 4 healing tips on how to heal mother daughter relationships, as adult daughters. We talk a bit about the often painful road to healing yourself. A few ideas about how to perhaps put into motion a little bit of healing as an adult daughter with your mother.

The first tip is knowing that actually you are good enough. Really believing that you are good enough. Maybe you are full of admiration for your mother, maybe she has a strong personality, strong character or skills in a certain area, and you feel that you may not measure up to that. Creating a balance in this area which is often a source of conflict; accepting that you don’t have to validate yourself based upon the traits of your mother. This all leads to feelings of not being enough – which is a horrible weight to carry around. Please know that you are good enough!

Next, trying to understand and empathise with, your mother’s needs. Try to think about giving her grace to be where she is, in terms of her experiences in life.

Next, avoiding blame! Ooh, don’t we all love to get into this one! It is so toxic. Where can we perhaps let go of that blame? Sometimes we blame ourselves for not doing enough, not being there, not earning enough, not having the ‘right’ husband, not having any husband, not being submissive enough, not having the ideal life that our mothers wanted for us…….the list goes on and on, and it’s so consuming and really unhealthy.

Lastly, looking at ways to redirect and retrain your subconscious mind. This is something I have worked through, listening to a whole series of neurological-blueprints, and it’s basically getting rid of that inner voice that has been established over time, that is in fact actually false and has created this untrue narrative in your life which does not serve you. You re-set your mind with good understandings and good internal beliefs that are serving you, and edifying you and the wonderful gifts and the wonderful person that you are.

Your Life Now Does Not Limit Your Future Self

Your Life Now Does Not Limit Your Future Self

So you wake up one morning, and you look at your life, and you feel weary …..and you sigh and think, ‘the vision I have for myself and my life feels like its so far away from where I’m at right now……am I just kidding myself..?”. Does this sound familiar?

Well my friend you’re really not alone in thinking this way, from time to time. This video is for you!

The trick is to recognise when you have these feelings and thoughts, and catch them before they do any lasting damage, and then change how you feel. But how?

I am a huge fan of the author and success coach Brendon Burchard. He teaches and empowers you in a way that truly resonates with me, and he brings such value to the world. If you’ve never heard of him, please please Google him and learn more. Well, one of his teachings inspired this video, so let’s dive in.

Let’s talk about how we can get so caught up in the stuff of life, often its the stuff that is your ‘busy work’ not your ‘passion work’ as Brendon describes, and this can weigh heavily on us. You know how disheartening it can be when you feel like there is no time to do what you really want to do….. and how can you move forward in the direction of your dreams?

What about when people like your family and friends take a view of what you say you’re going to do and say ‘you can never do that’, or worse, give you that annoying smirk smile that says ‘yeah right!’ and it just gets under your skin, particularly on those days when you’re not feeling as mentally strong as you usually do. People say things that are, in my words, a lot of nonsense, and it is stuff that is usually based on their own fears and certainly not something you should factor into your decision-making.

What about, “You’re stupid for thinking that that would ever happen!”. Yep, that’s another one we love to hate. In the video I talk about how to take care not to share your innermost goals and dreams with just anyone. Something I have learnt first-hand over the years!

In the video I also talk about the importance of continuously believing in yourself, pushing past the struggle to feed your belief in yourself and I share an example of how I have done this in the past. And 1 more super important ninja step which you need to take!

Why We Need To Cleanse – 10 Reasons

How will a cleanse help you? Do you know why we need to cleanse? Once you understand what a powerful tool you have in your hands to restore, revitalise and refresh your wellbeing and wellness, then you’ll be as excited as I am about making a cleanse a routine part of your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly health habits of your life journey.

In this video, you’ll learn about 10 reasons why we need to cleanse and why you should cleanse your body internally. I share what I have experienced myself in my body and mind after doing a cleanse and detox from a plant-based perspective.

Here I explain why we need to cleanse with a plant-based cleanse:

1. Removing Toxins and link to Weight-loss

2. Increasing your Energy

3. Decreasing Inflammation in your body

4. Improve your Digestion

6. Curb your cravings and nasty eating habits

7. Stabilising your mood and blood sugar levels

8. Your Skin is Clearer and Brighter

I’ve always found it interesting how we are quick to associate a cleanse with just weight loss, meanwhile you’re getting all these amazing benefits to your health, that the weight loss element just seems like a bonus! I encourage you to give some serious thought to how you can incorporate regular cleansing into your life……. can you really afford not to?
